ST. LOUIS - A three-run home run by Fordham in the third inning defeated the Billikens 3-0 in the series finale. Saint Louis junior Matt Eckelman (2-2) was hit with the loss and SLU falls to 28-15 overall and 9-6 in Atlantic 10 games. 

At the plate, the Billikens were once again led by freshman Parker Sniatynski, who went 2-4. Fellow freshman Alex King drew a pair of walks and was hit by a pitch.

On the mound, sophomore Zach Girrens was effective in relief, hurling five scoreless innings, striking out eight without allowing a baserunner. Of the nine balls put in play off Girrens, only two were hit in the air. 

Next up for the Billikens is a road game at Eastern Illinois on April 28. First pitch is set for 6 p.m. in Charleston, Ill.
