Connor Lehmann locked up his first win on the season, going 5.1 innings, giving up one run and striking out a career high nine batters. His previous high in strikeouts was six, which he accomplished twice in 2018.
Four Billikens had two hits in the game: Colten Schild (2-4), Ben Livorsi (2-3), Corrigan Bartlett (2-3) and Kevin Jordan (2-5). The team had 12 hits total on the afternoon.
Ryan Lefner entered the game in relief of Lehmann in the sixth inning. He went 2.2 innings, allowing two hits and striking out one.
Drew Reveno pitched a flawless ninth inning for the Billikens, striking out two of his three batters faced.
Saint Louis returns to action March 1-3 when they compete in the Westin Lake Mary Stetson Invitational in DeLand, Fla. The Billikens will face Stetson on Friday (6:00 p.m CT), Sacred Heart on Saturday (12:00 p.m.) and Georgetown on Sunday (10:00 a.m. CT).
