Saint Louis took game two of the series with Chicago State 7-5 on Saturday afternoon.

Cody Luther continued his strong start to the season, breezing through seven innings, allowing six hits, no earned runs and striking out three. He improved his 2019 record to 3-1 and lowered his ERA to 1.41.

Second baseman Cole Dubet went 2-3 at the plate. He drove in three runs and scored one.

Corrigan Bartlett and Jake Garella also had multi-hit games. Bartlett went 2-5 with one RBI and two runs scored. Garella finished the afternoon 2-5.

Colin Townsend picked up his first save of the season, throwing 0.2 innings and allowing one hit.

The Billikens will turn to Drew Reveno and look for the series sweep tomorrow afternoon at 12:00 p.m. CT at Billiken Sports Center.
