Dubet Doubles Three Times in Loss

Saint Louis fell to Rockhurst 4-5 on Tuesday night in 13 innings, dropping their record to 15-20 on the year.

Cole Dubet became the eleventh player in SLU history to double three times in a single game. He finished the night 3-6 with one RBI and two runs scored.

Corrigan Bartlett is just the fourth player in school history to reach base three times in a game via a hit-by-pitch. The most recent prior to Bartlett on Tuesday night was Aaron Case on May 5, 2017.

Freshman Ryan Patel threw two scoreless innings, striking out one and allowing just one hit.

Ryan Lefner had a flawless frame, facing three batters and striking out two of them.

Grant Fremion took the loss, tossing 3.0 innings, giving up one run on three hits and striking out two. He had his first collegiate at-bat in extra innings, drawing a walk.

The Billikens return to conference play when they travel to Fordham for a three-game set with the Rams beginning Thursday.
