Lehmann's Gem Propels Bills to Victory

Saint Louis (22-25, 10-9) defeated George Mason (19-30, 5-14) 3-0 on Friday night, behind senior Connor Lehmann's gem of a game.

The Billikens tallied a run in the third, fifth and sixth innings to defeat the Patriots, earning their tenth conference victory of the year.

Lehmann went 7.0 innings, allowing no runs on six hits and tying his career record with 12 strikeouts. The righty brought his record to 5-4 on the season.

Six different Billikens recorded a hit in the evening contest, including doubles by Cole Dubet, Ben Livorsi and Kevin Jordan. Dubet finished 1-4 with an RBI. Livorsi wrapped up the night 1-3 with an RBI, and Jordan ended the game 1-3 with a run scored.

Drew Reveno earned his first save of the year, needing only 15 pitches to get through two innings. He struck out two and did not allow a hit.

The Billikens are back in action for senior day tomorrow at 2 p.m., with the pregame ceremony beginning around 1:30 p.m.
