Billikens Fall Short in Regular Season Finale

Saint Louis took an 11-3 loss at Richmond to wrap up their regular season on Saturday. The Billikens finished the season 25-28, 13-11 in A-10 play.

Senior Ryan Lefner made overall appearance No. 89 but first career start in a Billiken uniform on the mound. He threw just one inning, faced three batters and struck out one.

Jake Garella hit his conference-leading twenty-seventh double in the contest, going 2-3 with an RBI.

Ryan Calhoun blasted a solo shot in the second inning for his lone hit in the game. He wrapped up the regular season finale 1-3 with one RBI and one run scored.

The Billikens will head to Bronx, N.Y., for the A-10 Tournament, beginning on Wednesday. Seeding and game times will be announced Saturday night by the league office.
