For the second time in three weeks, Jake Garella has been named the Atlantic 10 Conference Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday.

Garella batted for a .533/.588/1.133 slash line over the Billikens four games last week against Southern Illinois (1) and Richmond (3). He had two hits in each contest, including two home runs, three doubles and 10 RBIs.

On Friday, May 17 at Richmond, Garella went 2-4 with a two-run double and a grand slam.

This marks the third week in a row that a Billiken has taken home Player of the Week honors. Garella earned the award on May 6 and May 20, and Dubet was given the title on May 13.
