BILLIKEN NOTES

• Saint Louis heads to Lexington, S.C., for its second weekend series of the season, following taking 2-of-3 from UT Martin last week.
• The Billikens and Bobcats are meeting for the first time in program history.
• Junior transfer Kyle Fitzgerald led the way for the Billikens last week, going 8-for-11 with one home run, five RBIs and two runs scored.
• Fitzgerald leads SLU in hits, AVG, OBP and SLG.
• George Sutherland and Corrigan Bartlett each smacked five hits in the Billikens' opening series, while drawing two and three walks, respectively.
• Saint Louis is projected to stick with the same starting rotation, turning to Trevor Harris on Friday, followed by Mark Finkelnburg and Matt Boyer.
• Boyer and Finkelnburg each earned wins in their respective Billiken debuts last weekend.
• Finkelnburg put SLU in the win column for the first time this season last Saturday, tossing 5.2 innings and allowing just two earned runs.
• Boyer threw 5.0 innings of two-run ball in the series finale, striking out five and walking none.


OPPONENT NOTES

• Ohio began its season taking 3-of-4 on the road at North Alabama last weekend.
• The Bobcats were selected to finish sixth in the Mid-American Conference.
• Junior LHP Brett Manis was named the MAC co-Pitcher of the Week for his efforts in the series win.
• Manis picked up two saves in the series, throwing 3.0 innings and striking out seven.
• Senior infielder Trevor Hafner led the Bobcats with a .357 batting average in the four games, smacking five hits and driving in four.
• Michael Richardson hit .308, while also driving in four runs.
