MATCH NOTES: Saint Louis
• Saint Louis returns to Chaifetz Pavilion for the second round of matches this season with VCU and Davidson.
• The Billikens find themselves in second place in the Atlantic 10 Conference standings, entering the midpoint of league play this season.
• Led by a season-high 25 kills from Maya Taylor, SLU came away with a five-set victory at VCU earlier this season. The Rams lead the all-time series 12-5, but the Billikens have won the last two encounters.
• Taylor posted 19 kills in a four-set Billiken win at Davison to open A-10 play on Sept. 24. SLU is on an eight-match winning streak against the Wildcats and leads the all-time series 13-2.
• Jillian Mattingly boasts a .414 hitting percentage this season, leading the A-10 and ranking 17th nationally. Of those ranked in the top 17, Mattingly is third in kills (178) and attack attempts (343). She is one of just four underclassmen on the list.
• Emily Henken is second in the A-10 and 33rd nationally with 0.47 service aces per set. She leads a Billiken team that is third in the NCAA with 142 total aces and 15th with 1.97 per set. Mattingly (sixth, 0.34) and Taylor (eighth, 0.32) join Henken in the top 10 in the league in service aces per set.
• The Billikens are posting the most service aces per set (1.97) a SLU team has recorded since the 1995 squad averaged 2.15.
• Mattinly ranks second in the A-10 and 70th nationally with 1.20 blocks per set, while Sara Daniels is seventh in the league with an average of 0.95.
• Kate Aupperle and Abby Lynn are leading SLU to a league-best 12.36 assists per set, along with a second-ranked .219 hitting percentage.
