THE BASICS
• Saint Louis is set to return home after playing on the road in 12 of the last 13 contests, welcoming VCU for a four-game Atlantic 10 Conference weekend series.
• The Billikens are in third place in the A-10's South Division. The top two teams from each pod will advance to the Atlantic 10 Championship May 27-29.
• VCU leads the division with a 9-3 record (.750) in league play, and George Washington is second with an 8-4 record (.667).
• SLU is 6-9 all-time against the Rams, but the Billikens have won the previous two meetings.

QUICK HITTERS
• Cam Redding boasts a team-best .317 batting average. He ranks top 10 in the league with 37 RBIs (fourth), 12 doubles (sixth), 45 hits (seventh) and 33 runs (10th).
• Jake Garella ranks fourth among all active NCAA players with 63 doubles in his career. The senior ranks top 10 all-time at SLU in a variety of categories, including 63 doubles (first), 253 hits (fourth), 784 at bats (fifth), 210 games played (seventh), 140 RBIs (eighth) and 360 total bases (ninth).
• Colten Schild is second on the Billikens with a .304 batting average. Schild has reached base safely in 19 of the last 20 games, including six multi-hit games.
• Ryan Hernandez blasted his third home run of the season in Sunday's comeback win over George Washington. He drove in four runs in the eighth and ninth innings combined, finishing 2-for-4 with four RBIs and one run scored.
• Trevor Harris has thrown complete games in back-to-back conference games. The lefty ranks fifth in the A-10 with a 2.90 ERA, and he leads the team with 41 strikeouts in 49.2 innings pitched.
• Mark Finkelnburg is second on the squad with 39 strikeouts in 46.1 innings of work.
• Ryan Patel has a 1-0 record with two saves out of the bullpen. He's coming off a career-high 3.0 innings pitched against the Colonials on Sunday, picking up the win. Patel has a 3.75 ERA with 16 strikeouts in 11 appearances this season.
