• Saint Louis returns home for the first time in almost a month, following a nine-match road stretch in which the Billikens went 6-3, including winning the last four contests.
• The Department of Athletics announced that for the first time this season it is selling a limited amount of single-match tickets ahead of this weekend's contests. Tickets will be sold as advance sales only and will not be available at the door. They can be purchased here.
• Friday's match against Rhode Island will be streamed to ESPN+. Colin Suhre will be on the call, with first serve slated for 7 p.m.
• The Billikens are 2-0 to begin Atlantic 10 Conference play for the first time since the 2016 season, after taking down Davidson and VCU on the road last weekend.
• SLU is 22-5 all-time against Rhode Island and holds a six-match winning streak.
• The Billikens have dropped only one contest to Fordham in 23 encounters and have won 12 straight against the Rams.
• Maya Taylor was named the A-10 Offensive Player of the Week on Monday after leading SLU to two road victories last weekend. She recorded 44 combined kills (4.89 per set) on a .203 hitting percentage at Davidson and at VCU. Taylor added 2.00 digs per set and totaled 5.22 points per set.
• Saint Louis ranks 20th nationally with 1.97 service aces per set.
• The Billikens also sit top 20 in the NCAA in total service aces (114, second), total assists (716, seventh), total kills (770, eighth), total digs (911, 15th) and total blocks (130.5, 20th).
• Jillian Mattingly ranks 26th in the NCAA with a .401 hitting percentage on the season.
