FAIRFAX, Va. – Saint Louis freshman distance runner
Toby Gillen (Cairns, Australia) was named the top men's performer of the Atlantic 10 Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships, held this weekend on the campus of George Mason University.

Gillen captured the gold medal and the conference championship in the 5,000 meters, finishing in a school-record time of 14:22.51. He followed that performance with a second-place showing and a silver medal in the 3,000 meters with a time of 8:21.16.

Also earning a medal on the day was
Harrison Martinenko, who earned the bronze in the mile with a time of 4:12.68.

As a team, the Billiken men place seventh overall with 55 points. The women were 11
th with 22 points.
