NORMAL, Ill. – Saint Louis competed in the Redbird Challenge this weekend. The meet was hosted by Illinois State University.

Both the Billikens men's and women's team placed fourth out of 11 schools, with many SLU competitors scoring and posting PRs in the meet.

For the women,
Abby Cibulka competed in the Heptathlon and placed second overall with 4,034 points, just shy of her PR.
Â
Theresa Lampe placed second in the 100-meter hurdles with a PR of 14.66.
Emily Nichols was fourth in the 400 meters, crossing the finish in a PR of 56.57.

Ali Vandeheede was the winner in the hammer throw, finishing with a top mark of 42.74 meters.
Susan D'Onofrio placed first in the triple jump with a big PR of 12.10 meters.

For the men,
Myles Gascon qualified for the finals in the 100 meters and placed third overall with a time of 10.61, just off his PR.

The Billikens had the top four runners of the day in the 1,500 meters, led by
Toby Gillen's time of 3:53.61. Following were
Harrison Martinenko (3:55.49),
Matt de Haas (3:56.17) and
Jackson Higley (3:58.10).

Malik Stewart crossed the line second in the 800 meters with a time of 1:55.25.
Diego Collado came in third in the hammer, throwing 46.70 meters.

The Billikens are back in action when they compete in the Kentucky Invitational in Lexington, Ky.
