WOODBRIDGE, Va. – Saint Louis University head women's basketball coach
Rebecca Tillett has been honored with induction into the inaugural class of the Forest Park High School Athletic Hall of Fame. Tillett is one of 14 inductees and one of just four coaches selected for this recognition.
This marks Tillett's second Hall of Fame induction, having previously been honored by Osbourn Park High School in 2022 for her career as a student-athlete.
Tillett served as the head girls basketball coach at Forest Park High School in Virginia from 2007 to 2013. During her tenure, she led the Bruins to a remarkable 122-39 record. Under her leadership, Forest Park secured four Cardinal District regular-season championships, three district tournament titles, and three Northwest Region championships.
The team made multiple deep runs in the state tournament, highlighted by an appearance in the 2008 state championship game, a semifinal berth in 2011, and a quarterfinal showing in 2009.
A three-time Virginia Northwest Region Coach of the Year (2008, 2009, 2011), Tillett was also recognized with the Washington Post Coach of the Year for the Prince William section in 2008.
Her teams were celebrated not just for their success on the court but also for their sportsmanship, earning the Virginia High School League Sportsmanship Award in 2008.
