ABOUT THE BILLIKENS

• Saint Louis earned the third seed in the 2019 Atlantic 10 Volleyball Tournament, following their 16-11 regular season and 10-4 record in conference play. 
• The Billikens and Davidson squared off on the final day of the regular season, with SLU coming away with the five set victory.
• The league announced that three Billikens earned Atlantic 10 Conference postseason honors. Senior OH Sien Gallop was named to the All-Conference first team, while junior OH Maya Taylor and junior S Kennedy Cordia earned All-Conference second-team nods. Cordia was also named to the All-Academic team.
• Cordia leads the conference in A-10 matches only in both aces (25) and assists (568).
• Overall on the season, Cordia ranks first with 48 aces and second with 989 assists.
• Gallop and Taylor both find themselves at the top of the Atlantic 10 in kills. In conference matches only, Gallop ranks third with 208 (3.71 per set), while Taylor sits in fourth with 202 (3.61 per set). 
• For the whole season,Taylor ranks third in the conference with 372 kills (3.92 per set), while Gallop is fifth with 342 (3.32 per set).

BILLIKENS VS. TEAMS IN TOURNAMENT

• Saint Louis and Davidson will meet for the 11th time in program history on Friday, with the Billikens leading the all-time series 8-2.
• SLU and VCU have met 13 times, with the Rams holding a 10-3 advantage. The two teams played once in the regular season, on Nov. 15 in Chaifetz Pavilion. The Billikens handed VCU their first set loss since Sept. 27 in the match, but the Rams took home the victory in five sets.
• Saint Louis and Dayton have met 50 times, including twice this season. The Flyers won both meetings in 2019 and hold a 34-16 edge in all-time meetings. 
• The Billikens swept George Washington twice this season, improving their overall record against the Colonials to 17-8.
• SLU and the Explorers met once this season in Philadelphia, Pa., and La Salle came away with the five set victory. The win marked just the second time the Explorers have beat the Billikens in 20 meetings.
