WASHINGTON - The Billikens were picked tied for third in the Atlantic 10 Preseason Poll, the league announced Friday as voted on by the 12 head coaches. 

Saint Louis tied Saint Joseph's with 98 points. The Billikens finished third last season with a 33-26 record, going 18-12 in conference play. 

Rhode Island, the reigning A-10 champions, took the top spot with 136 points and five first place votes. George Mason was picked second with 122 points and four first place votes.

Saint Joseph's, Dayton and Richmond all received one first place vote.
